Terms of Use
Last updated: 17 August 2026
By downloading Scroll Hadiths you accept these terms. The app is distributed through the Apple App Store, and Apple's standard end user licence agreement applies as well.
Content and sources
The hadith texts and translations in the app are taken from openly licensed collections and are presented as they are:
| Source | Licence |
|---|---|
| fawazahmed0/hadith-api | Unlicense |
| gadingnst/hadith-api | MIT |
No translation was produced by this app and no text was generated by artificial intelligence. Where a language has no translation, the field is left empty.
Accuracy
Authenticity gradings are shown as they appear in the source collections, together with the name of the scholar who issued the ruling. Narrations graded weak or fabricated are kept out of the default feed; they remain reachable through search and chapter browsing, and they appear with their gradings. Even so, the app is a reading tool, not a source of religious rulings. Consult a qualified scholar on matters you intend to act upon.
Subscriptions and purchases
The entire hadith text, search, chapter browsing, commentary, authenticity gradings, liking, saving and sharing are free and will remain free. Premium unlocks only the organising and appearance tools.
- Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically at the end of the period unless cancelled. To stop the renewal, turn the subscription off in your Apple Account settings at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
- The yearly plan includes a 7 day free trial for new subscribers. If you cancel before the trial ends, you are not charged.
- The lifetime purchase is a one off and is not a subscription.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. Billing and refunds are handled by Apple; refund requests go to Apple.
Limit of liability
The app is provided "as is". No liability is accepted for damages arising from an error, an omission or an incorrect grading in the source collections.
